Park Worker at the Service and Technical Administration

The Service and Technical Administration is the common service and service provider for Katrineholm Municipality. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The role of park worker primarily consists of gardening tasks, including planting, fertilizing, watering, mowing grass areas, weeding, and pruning trees and shrubs. The job also includes outdoor cleaning of municipal areas, as well as daily maintenance and minor repairs of machines. The work can at times be physically demanding as excavation work, raking, and trimming grass are involved. As an employee in the Park, you will work both in groups and independently. This position requires weekend work.

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in parks, gardening, and nature conservation is advantageous for the park worker position. You should also have experience operating various green area machines. The work involves moving between different job sites, thus a driving license is also an asset.

You are a person with good collaboration skills and can easily establish good contacts with your colleagues as you work both in groups and independently. Furthermore, we see that you are attentive and communicative in relation to both internal and external contacts. You have good communication skills in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. For this role, it is required that you have good experience working in a structured manner and that you have the ability to plan your tasks so that they are carried out as efficiently as possible. A service administration is in constant change as our services are adapted to customer needs. Being flexible, service-oriented, and helpful are therefore important qualities for this role.
